2019-2020 POINT ISABEL ISD CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM
All children in the Point Isabel Independent School District will receive meals at no charge through the academic 2019-2020 school year. Each student will be offered a free breakfast and lunch.
2019-2020 Visitor Sign-In Requirements
All visitors to Point Isabel ISD campuses will need a form of photo identification to get into the school buildings during instructional hours. Campuses have Raptor vSoft Visitor Management Software installed at the main entrance of all four schools. This software will help track visitors, contractors, and volunteers at school, by providing a safer environment for all.
The system works by scanning a government-issued identification such as a driver’s license into the computer. Connected to the Internet, the office personnel can then determine whether the visitor is listed on a sex offender registry. That information then will allow the front office to follow district procedures and determine whether or not the visitor should be allowed into the school. A sticker bearing the visitor’s name and photo then is printed and must be worn during the entire campus visit.
2019-2020 BUS SAFETY INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
We would like to remind everyone in Tarpon Territory to be cautious and remember BUS SAFETY! Slow down through residential areas and school zones. Do not pass a stopped school bus with flashing red lights. Ensure the safety of students by knowing when to stop and respecting the school bus flashing red lights and stop sign.
Have a great and safe school year!
